The Purple Room has been involved with producing the music at live events every summer at Assiniboia Downs for several years. If you’re interested in being considered for 2025 events, please fill out the application form below!

The Purple Room will be looking for mostly original bands and solo performers for the three Manitoba Night Markets as well as the MB Food Truck Battles, while we’ll be helping Assiniboia Downs book cover and tribute acts for a number of other events. The availability portion of the form below isn’t necessarily a final list of 2025 events, and so we may reach out to applicants to check their availability as new events are confirmed.

Compensation for performers begins at a minimum of $200 for solo acts and $400 for full bands, and all performers will also receive food & drinks. Set times range from 30-60 minutes, depending on the stage and time slot.
